Black Lightning S01 E2 RECAP

In Black Lightning’s Season 1 premiere “Resurrection”, viewers saw that a whole lot was going on in the fictional city of Freeland. The show’s star Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) still portrays the typical (if sad) American Black reality of daily struggles to follow that narrow path. In episode 2 called “LaWanda: The Book of Hope”, the stage has been set to explore all the nuances and circumstances that impacted each character. So along with these daily struggles, are there other superheroes within Freeland.

Fans of the DC Comics on TV would have been sure to sign in for the season finale of Arrow on Thursday, 25th May. Quite frankly, the Season 5 finale did an amazing job of capping what was an awesome season and also it provided more than simple justification for continuing with the series.
