Rachel Lindsay’s The Bachelorette Premier Diverse and Enigmatic Batch of Contestants Ready for her love

The Bachelorette

Monday night’s season premier of The Bachelorette had audiences and Rachel of course, meeting her 31 extremely eligible, decadently handsome bachelors. How fortunate is The Bachelorette 2017? Rachel Lindsay, former Bachelor Nation contestant and that competition’s first African American participant, has said that she wants a batch of contestants that represent full and utter diversity. This certainly seems to have been accommodated! After all, she has all these eligible men vying for her sole attention, willing to go all out to impress her and her to make them her number one choice.

Rachel Lindsay is a 31-year-old attorney out of Texas and practicing attorney and appeared on Nick Viall’s 21st season of The Bachelor. As a contestant on The Bachelor, Rachel was among the lucky beauties to receive a first impression rose from Nick. While she was sent home after one of the final dates, her experience being one of Nick Viall’s top picks made such an impression on Rachel she pursued another dream – to become a Bachelorette. So here she is in the 13th season of the series and confidently handed out her first impression roses.

The Bachelorette Lucas YanceyAmong those fortunate men to receive a first impression rose was Lucas Yancey. Yancey is certainly more than a character – playing the clown and getting on the nerves of several of the other contestants. They expressed complete and utter shock at his receipt of a first impression rose at the end of the premiere. Its obvious that Lucas Yancey has devised a strategy that has seen him living to fight on the next episode as he certainly managed to earn Rachel’s attention – or has he? Lindsay did say she wishes to have a diverse group of bachelors.

Dr. Bryan Abasolo

The man who has certainly made a strong and lasting impression is the romantic, handsome but more importantly enigmatic Dr. Bryan Abasolo. This begs the question then – is Bryan Abasolo already a favourite of the Bachelorette? Rachel certainly seemed impressed. We are certainly anxious to see in the next episode.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays, 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
